Browser Extension

The Revolt browser extension (RevoltX) provides all the features of the userscript plus additional capabilities, including EdgeX, Edmentum, and Subject.

The extension automatically detects which platform you're on and adjusts available features accordingly. Subject-specific setup is on the Subject page.


EdgeX & Subject Video Speed

When using Auto Instructions or Auto Assignment on EdgeX or Subject, you can configure video playback speed:

Access this setting by expanding the Auto Instructions or Auto Assignment accordion in the sidebar.

The displayed speed (5x, 10x, 20x) maps to higher internal playback rates for EdgeX and Subject lesson videos.

Installation

Chrome / Edge

  1. Download the .zip extension package
  2. Go to chrome://extensions (Chrome) or edge://extensions (Edge)
  3. Enable Developer mode
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder

Firefox

  1. Download the .xpi extension file
  2. Go to about:addons
  3. Click the gear icon → Install Add-on From File
  4. Select the .xpi file

Firefox extensions installed this way need to be re-installed after browser restart unless you use a signed version from the Firefox Add-ons store.


Updating

The extension does not auto-update. To update:

  1. Download the latest version
  2. Remove the old extension
  3. Install the new version following the steps above

Your settings are preserved across updates thanks to Settings Sync.
