Installation Guide

Revolt can be installed as a userscript (classic Edgenuity) or as a browser extension (required for EdgeX, Edmentum, and Subject).

Userscript Installation (Recommended)

The userscript method works on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, and any browser that supports userscript managers.

Step 1: Install a Userscript Manager

Install one of these browser extensions:

Tampermonkey (Recommended)	Install	Install	Install
Violentmonkey	Install	Install	Install

Step 2: Install the Revolt Script

Visit revolt.ly/download and click Download Script

Tampermonkey will open a new tab showing the script details

Click the Install button in Tampermonkey

The script is now installed and will run automatically on classic Edgenuity

The userscript auto-updates. You don't need to reinstall when new versions are released.

Step 3: Authenticate Your License

Revolt supports two authentication methods:

License Key (One-time purchase)

Go to any classic Edgenuity page
Enter your license key when prompted
Your key is linked to that platform account

Account Linking (Subscription)

Log in to your Revolt account at revolt.ly
Go to Edgenuity and log in
Your accounts are automatically linked

Step 4: Start Using Revolt

Once authenticated, go to Edgenuity and log in. Revolt will automatically activate and the sidebar will appear.

Browser Extension (EdgeX, Edmentum, and Subject)

The RevoltX browser extension is required for EdgeX (student.ex.edgenuity.com), Edmentum, and Subject (app.subject.com). If your school uses classic Edgenuity only, the userscript above is enough.

Install from Chrome Web Store

Visit the RevoltX Chrome Web Store page

Click Add to Chrome and confirm the installation

The extension icon will appear in your toolbar — you're ready to go!

The Chrome extension also works on Microsoft Edge and other Chromium-based browsers.

Mobile Installation (iOS)

Use the Focus app to run Revolt on your iPhone or iPad.

Download the Revolt script from revolt.ly/download

Install the Focus app from the App Store

Open the Focus app

Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right corner

Tap Script

Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner

Tap Import from files

Select the Revolt file you downloaded

Go to Edgenuity in Focus — Revolt is now active!

Verifying Installation

After installation:

Navigate to Edgenuity, EdgeX, Edmentum, or Subject (app.subject.com)
Log in to your student account
The Revolt sidebar should appear automatically

Updating

Method	Update Behavior

Uninstalling

Userscript:

Click the Tampermonkey icon in your toolbar
Go to Dashboard
Find Revolt and click the trash icon

Extension:

Go to chrome://extensions
Find RevoltX and click Remove
