General
What is Revolt?
Revolt is a userscript that automates coursework on Edgenuity, EdgeX, Nova, Edmentum, Subject, FLVS, and Brightspace at TRECA Digital Academy. It includes features like auto-advance, auto-quiz, assignment completion, and more.
Is Revolt safe to use?
Revolt is designed with privacy in mind. We don't store your course login credentials, and all automation happens locally in your browser. However, use at your own discretion as automation tools may violate your school's academic integrity policies.
Which platforms does Revolt support?
One userscript covers all of them. Install it once from the Installation page.

What happened to the RevoltX extension?
The RevoltX Chrome extension is no longer available from the Chrome Web Store. The userscript now does everything it did, on every platform. If you still have RevoltX installed, remove it and install the script so they don't run at the same time. The one thing the script can't do is wake a sleeping course tab when Work Hours start; see Supported Platforms.
Which browsers are supported?
Revolt works on:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Brave
- Firefox
Chromebooks work wherever your school allows the Tampermonkey extension.
Does Revolt work on mobile?
Partly. Classic Edgenuity works on iPhone and iPad through the Focus app, and on Android through Firefox with the Violentmonkey add-on (Chrome on Android can't run Revolt). Steps for both are in Mobile Installation. The same script also loads on EdgeX, Edmentum, Subject, FLVS, and Brightspace, but those are much less tested on phones and some may not work there. Mobile is less reliable than a computer, so use a PC, Mac, or Chromebook when you can.
Keys & Subscriptions
What's the difference between a key and a subscription?
They are two separate ways to pay, and they unlock the same features:
- Subscription: recurring, tied to your Revolt account. A subscription never comes with a license key. In your course, click Login with Account on the Revolt screen, sign in, and confirm Link Account (guide).
- License key: a one-time purchase for a fixed amount of time. You type the key into the Revolt screen in your course and click Activate.

The Daily subscription renews and charges every day until you cancel it.
I bought a key. Where is it?
Your key is emailed to the address you entered at checkout. Check that inbox (and spam), especially if you paid with a different email than your Revolt account. You can check a key's status at revolt.ly/key. When typing a key, watch for look-alike characters such as O and 0.
If you bought a subscription, there is no key. Use Login with Account instead.
Can I combine two keys or add time to a key?
You can't merge keys or move time from one key to another. Use the second key after the first one expires. To add time to a key you already have, buy a key extension (4, 6, 12, or 24 hours) at revolt.ly/key.
Is there a free key?
Yes, once per Discord account: a free 4-hour key. Star our GitHub repo, then post the screenshot in the freebie channel of our Discord server and click Verify. Your Discord account must be at least 3 days old. The 4 hours start when you redeem the key.
Can I use my key on multiple devices?
Yes. A key is linked to one course account at a time, but you can use that course account on any computer. Subscriptions can link more course accounts depending on the plan (see the table above).
What happens when my license expires?
When your license expires:
- Premium features will be disabled
- You'll be prompted to renew
- Your settings and data remain saved

Features
What does Auto Advance do?
Auto Advance automatically clicks "Next" buttons and moves to the next activity once the current one is complete. Its course-mode setting controls which courses it advances in, not how fast:
- Locked (default) - Advances in all courses, including locked ones
- Unlocked - Only advances in unlocked classes
To change how fast Revolt works, adjust the delays in Advanced Controls. See Auto Advance for details.
Can Revolt skip or speed up videos?
- Classic Edgenuity: videos play at normal speed. With Auto Instructions on, Revolt starts each video automatically and moves on as soon as it finishes. Skip Intro skips intro screens, not the video itself.
- EdgeX and Subject: you can also set video speed to 5x, 10x, or 20x in the Auto Instructions or Auto Assignment settings.
- Edmentum, FLVS, and Brightspace: videos play at the normal speed, and Auto Instructions moves on when they finish.
How do I open the Revolt menu?
Press Ctrl + Shift + R to show or hide the menu. If it still doesn't appear, refresh the page and see Troubleshooting.
How does Auto Quiz work?
Auto Quiz looks up answers from our database and automatically fills them in. It supports:
- Multiple choice questions
- Checkbox questions
- Dropdown questions
- Fill-in-the-blank
Does Auto Quiz have all answers?
We have millions of answers, but not every question. If an answer isn't found:
- You can answer manually
- The system learns from your answers for future users
- AI fallback is available for some question types
What's the difference between Default and Instant Exam mode?
- Default Mode - Answers questions one at a time as you navigate
- Instant Exam Mode - Answers all questions at once (faster but less "human-like")
Can I watch or control Revolt from my phone?
Yes. Sign in to the course tab with Login with Account, then open revolt.ly/dashboard/control on your phone or any other device. You can watch the tab live, tap, scroll, and type into it, turn features on and off, change your settings, and switch to a sharp HD view with one click on the computer. It works on every platform. Can Revolt message me on Discord?
Yes. Link Discord from your dashboard and Revolt DMs you activity summaries with scores, cloud class alerts, key expiry reminders, and billing alerts. Choose what you receive with /revolt notifications (useful, all, critical, or off). See Discord Control & Notifications.
Does Revolt have a scheduler?
Yes. Work Hours is Revolt's scheduler. Pick the days and the start and end time Revolt is allowed to work. Outside that window automation pauses by itself, and it resumes on its own when your hours start. You can add automatic breaks, either random or at fixed times. Overnight windows work and your schedule syncs across devices. Cloud Completion orders have their own schedule with a timezone and presets like School hours. See Work Hours.
Does Revolt support Nova?
Yes. Revolt answers Nova quizzes, tests, lesson and practice questions in both classic Edgenuity and EdgeX courses, and Auto Project completes Nova file-upload projects. See Nova.
Does Revolt work on FLVS?
Yes, with the same script and the same key or subscription you use everywhere else. Sign in at vsa.flvs.net, open your course with COURSE, and turn on Auto Advance, Auto Exam, Auto Assignment, and Auto Instructions. Revolt reads the lessons, answers single-answer multiple-choice quizzes and segment exams, and completes worksheet assignments. Discussion-Based Assessments, Collaboration activities, and anything that needs your own photo, voice, or recording are left for you. Cloud Completion doesn't support FLVS yet. See FLVS.
Does Revolt work on Brightspace?
Yes, on TRECA Digital Academy's Brightspace (tda.brightspace.com), with the same script and the same key or subscription you use everywhere else. Revolt answers Brightspace quizzes (multiple choice, select all that apply, and written responses), works through Möbius, Edpuzzle and Classkick assignments embedded in TDA, turns in dropbox assignments, and opens the next topic when the current one is complete. Timed or password-protected quizzes, retakes, and anything outside TDA (Google Docs and Slides, Clever, Navigate360, discussions) are left for you. Other schools' Brightspace sites aren't supported yet, and Cloud Completion doesn't support Brightspace yet. See Brightspace.
Can you complete a whole class for me?
Yes. Cloud Completion runs Edgenuity and EdgeX classes on our servers with a live view, pause and resume, and automatic re-login. It is priced per class, from $9 to $15 depending on how much of the class is left.

How do I get help or report a bug?
- Use the support chat on revolt.ly. It can check your account and your course page, and you can ask for a human there.
- Or join our Discord server at discord.gg/revoltly, go to the #support channel, and describe the issue with screenshots.
How do I request a feature?
Feature requests can be submitted in our Discord server in the #suggestions channel.
Privacy & Security
Does Revolt see my course password?
No. Revolt never accesses or stores your Edgenuity, Edmentum, Subject, FLVS, or Brightspace credentials. Login is handled entirely by the course platform.
What data does Revolt collect?
Revolt collects:
- Anonymous usage statistics (features used, activity types)
- Question/answer data (for improving the answer database)
We do not collect:
- Personal information
- Login credentials
- Grades or academic records
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All communication with our servers uses HTTPS encryption.
Billing
What payment methods are accepted?
At checkout: credit/debit cards and Cash App Pay (crypto is also accepted for keys). For other methods such as Apple Pay, Zelle, or Venmo, open a purchase ticket in our Discord server.
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Log in at revolt.ly/dashboard
- Click Manage Billing in the sidebar
- Cancel the subscription
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. License keys are one-time purchases, so there's nothing to cancel.
Why was I charged again?
- The Daily subscription charges every day, Weekly every week, and Monthly every month, until you cancel.
- A charge right after you cancelled can be a renewal that was already due before the cancellation.
- If you don't recognize a charge, check which email you used at checkout, then contact support. The support chat can look up the charges on your account and explain them.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are reviewed case by case by our team and aren't guaranteed. Renewals you forgot to cancel usually aren't refunded. If you were charged after cancelling, we'll look into it. To ask, use Talk to a human in the support chat or contact us on Discord.
Can I delete my account?
Account deletion isn't available as a self-service option. Cancelling your subscription stops all future charges. If you need your data removed, contact support.
