Automatically progress through Edgenuity activities
Auto Advance
Auto Advance automatically clicks "Next" buttons and progresses through activities, moving you from one activity to the next without manual intervention.
Auto Advance is disabled by default. You must opt-in by toggling it on from the sidebar.
How It Works
When enabled, Auto Advance monitors the current activity state and automatically navigates to the next activity once the current one is complete. It works across all activity types including quizzes, instructions, videos, assignments, and more.
Configuration Options
Mode
Controls how Auto Advance handles different course types.
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Locked | Advances in all courses, including locked ones (default) |
| Unlocked | Only advances in unlocked classes |
Course Map Return Behavior
When you navigate back to the course map during auto-advance, this setting controls what happens next.

| Automatically Continue | Returns to the next activity automatically |
| Stop and Wait | Stays on the course map page |
| Ask Every Time | Shows a modal asking what to do (default) |
Score Filter (Unlocked Mode Only)
When in Unlocked mode and an exam already has a score, this setting determines the behavior.

| Stop and Wait | Stops at the score screen (default) |
| Always Advance | Advances regardless of score |
| Advance Based on Score | Only advances if the score falls within a configurable range |
Score Range
When Advance Based on Score is selected, you can set a minimum and maximum score percentage. Auto Advance will only proceed if the score falls within this range.
- Default Range: 0% – 100%
Best Practices
- Start with Locked mode and Ask Every Time for course map returns until you're comfortable
- Use Score Filter in Unlocked mode to avoid advancing past low scores that need retaking
- Combine with Auto Exam and Auto Instructions for fully automated progression
