Link Your Edgenuity Account
To use Revolt with a subscription, you need to connect your Edgenuity account to your Revolt account. This guide explains the account linking process.
Using a License Key Instead?
License keys are completely separate from Revolt accounts. If you have a key, you don't need to link accounts — just enter your key when prompted. Keys have their own dashboard at revolt.ly/key.
Account linking is a one-time setup. Once linked, Revolt will automatically authenticate you each time you log into Edgenuity.
Prerequisites
Before linking, make sure you have:
- Revolt installed (Installation Guide)
- An active Revolt subscription OR a valid license key
- Access to your Edgenuity student portal
Option 1: Link with Revolt Account (Subscription Users)
If you have a Revolt account with an active subscription, follow these steps:
Log into Edgenuity
Navigate to your school's Edgenuity portal and log in with your student credentials.
Wait for Revolt to Load
After logging in, the Revolt menu will appear. If you haven't linked your account yet, you'll see an authentication prompt.
Click "Login with Account"
In the Revolt authentication screen, click the "Login with Account" button. This will open a new tab.
Sign into Revolt
If you're not already logged in, sign into your Revolt account at revolt.ly.
Confirm the Link
You'll be redirected to the linking page where your Edgenuity profile information is displayed. Click "Link Account" to confirm.
Return to Edgenuity
Once linked successfully, return to your Edgenuity tab and refresh the page. Revolt will now load automatically!
Alternative: Using a License Key
License keys work independently from Revolt accounts. No account linking required.
Log into Edgenuity
Navigate to your Edgenuity portal and log in.
Enter Your License Key
In the Revolt authentication screen, enter your license key in the format:
REVOLT_XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXClick "Activate"
Click the Activate button. Revolt will validate your key and activate it for this Edgenuity account.
Done!
If successful, Revolt will load automatically.
Key Dashboard
Manage your license key at revolt.ly/key — check expiration, view usage, and more.
Each license key can only be used with one Edgenuity account at a time.
Managing Linked Accounts (Subscription Users)
This section applies to subscription users only. Key users should visit revolt.ly/key instead.
View Linked Accounts
You can view all your linked Edgenuity accounts in your Revolt Dashboard under the "Linked Accounts" section.
Unlink an Account
To unlink an Edgenuity account:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Find the account under "Linked Accounts"
- Click the unlink button (chain icon)
- Confirm the action
Account Limits
The number of Edgenuity accounts you can link depends on your subscription plan:

Automatic Linking
Revolt supports automatic linking when you click "Login with Account" from Edgenuity:
- Your Edgenuity profile data is securely sent to the linking page
- If you're already logged into Revolt, the link happens automatically
- You'll see a success message and be redirected to your dashboard
Auto-linking only works if you're already signed into your Revolt account in the same browser.
Troubleshooting
"Account already linked to another user"
This means your Edgenuity account is already linked to a different Revolt account. You'll need to:
- Log into the other Revolt account
- Unlink the Edgenuity account from the dashboard
- Then link it to your current account
"Subscription required"
You need an active Revolt subscription to link accounts. Visit the pricing page to subscribe.
"Maximum accounts reached"
You've reached the linked account limit for your plan. Either:
- Upgrade your plan for more slots
- Unlink an existing account to free up a slot
Link page shows "Invalid data"
If the automatic data transfer failed:
- Make sure you're logged into Edgenuity
- Try refreshing the Edgenuity page
- Click "Login with Account" again
Security
Your Data is Secure
- We only store your Edgenuity user ID, name, and school information
- We never store your Edgenuity password
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- You can unlink your account at any time
