Watch and control your running tab from any device, and get activity alerts in Discord
Remote Control & Discord
Revolt can keep an eye on a tab you already have running, so you do not have to sit in front of it. There are three tools:

Remote Control and the /revolt command only work with tabs running the RevoltX extension that are signed in with your Revolt account. The userscript does not support them, and a tab activated with a license key does not appear on the Control page.
The Control Page
Open revolt.ly/dashboard/control (the Control item in your dashboard sidebar) from your phone, tablet, or any other computer. Your running course tab appears there while it is open.
Requirements
- The course tab is open with RevoltX running (Edgenuity, EdgeX, or Edmentum)
- That tab is signed in with Login with Account, so it is tied to your Revolt account. See Link Your Account
- You are signed in to the same Revolt account on the Control page
What you see
The page lists every live tab for your account, each with its page title, URL, linked account, visibility, and when it was last seen. Pick a tab and the Selected Tab panel shows its state and a Live Preview of the page. The list refreshes on its own every few seconds, and the Refresh button forces it.
What you can do
Watch live
See the tab as a live video stream. If the stream cannot start, the page falls back to periodic still frames.
Tap, drag, and scroll
Click, drag, scroll, and right-click directly on the preview. On a phone, touch and drag the preview itself.
Toggle features
Turn Auto Advance, Auto Exam, Auto Assignment, Auto Essay, and the other features on or off for the selected tab.
Edit settings
Change feature options, delays, and the theme. Changes apply to the selected tab immediately.
A few details worth knowing:
- Settings are account-wide. Edits on the Control page apply to the selected tab at once and then sync to all of your linked course accounts, so they are also what you see next time you open the sidebar.
- File pickers. If the remote tab opens a file chooser (for example on a project upload), the Control page lets you choose a file on your device and sends it to that tab.
- Copied text. Text copied inside the remote tab is placed on your clipboard.
- Work hours. The Control page shows whether the selected tab is inside or outside your work hours, and you can view and change your schedule there.
- Keep the tab visible. Preview quality is best when the selected tab is visible and active on the computer that is running it.
You must keep the tab open on the computer that runs it. Control shows and drives that browser tab; it does not run Revolt for you. If you want Revolt to run without your computer, see Cloud Completion.
Discord Setup
Discord notifications and the /revolt command use the Discord account you link to Revolt.
Sign in at revolt.ly/dashboard.
Find the Discord Control card and click Link Discord.
Approve the Discord prompt. Revolt asks only to identify your account and to add you to the Revolt server. You land back on the dashboard with Discord linked successfully.
Once linked, the card shows your Discord name, your notification mode (default useful), and whether control is enabled. You can Unlink from the same card at any time. Unlinking stops alerts and disables /revolt for your account.
The /revolt Command
Use /revolt in the Revolt Discord server to manage your live tabs without opening the website.
/revolt requires a current subscription on the Revolt account your Discord is linked to.

activity, state, reload, start, and stop take an optional tab option with autocomplete. Leave it empty and Revolt uses your most recently seen live tab. If no live tab is online, the command tells you so.
Discord Notifications
Notifications arrive as direct messages from the Revolt bot, so you do not need to join a particular channel. Keep DMs from server members enabled in Discord, otherwise the bot cannot reach you.
What you can be told about

| Runner Stuck | A cloud class needs your attention |
| Activity Locked | A cloud class hit a locked activity or proctored exam that needs you |
| Class Failed / Error Occurred | A cloud class could not be completed |
| Key Expiring Soon | Your license key has less than a day left. Sent once, with an Extend your key link. 1-day keys skip this warning. |
| Key Expired | Your license key just ran out. Extend it to pick up where you left off. |
| Payment Failed | Your subscription payment did not go through. Update your payment method from the dashboard to keep access. |
| Subscription Ended | Your subscription ended and your linked accounts no longer have access |
Key alerts go to the Discord account linked to the key's Edgenuity account, or to the Revolt account that bought the key. Payment and subscription alerts go to the Discord linked to your Revolt account.
Notification modes
Change the mode with /revolt notifications.

If a DM cannot be delivered, nothing breaks. Cloud Completion events, key expiry warnings, and billing alerts are also emailed to you, so you still get them.
Tips
- Use Remote Control for a quick check from your phone: confirm the quiz is progressing, toggle a feature, or tap through a prompt.
- Use Discord for set-and-forget: leave notifications on Useful and use
/revolt statewhen something looks off. - If your tab is missing from the Control page or
/revolt status, confirm you used Login with Account (not a key) and that the tab is still open. See Troubleshooting.
