Automate Florida Virtual School (vsa.flvs.net and learn.flvs.net) with the Revolt userscript

Florida Virtual School (FLVS)

Revolt supports FLVS. You sign in at vsa.flvs.net, open a course with the COURSE link, and do the work in Educator at learn.flvs.net (Table of Contents, Assessments, Grade Report). On FLVS your grade comes only from assessments (quizzes, exams and assignments); lesson pages carry no credit.

FLVS uses the same Revolt userscript, license key, or subscription as every other platform. There is nothing extra to install or buy. FLVS Driver Education (app.flvs-driversed.com) is supported too, with Auto Instructions, Auto Quiz, and Auto Advance.

Quick Start

Install Revolt

Install Tampermonkey and the Revolt script. Full steps are on the Installation page and the FLVS install tutorial.

Sign in to FLVS

Log into vsa.flvs.net with your student account.

Open your course

Click COURSE next to the class you want. It opens in Educator at learn.flvs.net, and Revolt shows the sidebar.

Activate

Enter your license key, or link your FLVS account if you have a Revolt subscription.

Enable features

Turn on Auto Advance, Auto Exam, Auto Assignment, and Auto Instructions from the sidebar. That combination reads the lessons, takes the quizzes and exams, completes the worksheets, and moves through the course.

Supported Features

FeatureOn FLVSNotes
Auto Advance✓Picks a course, then works through it in Table of Contents order
Auto Instructions✓Opens each lesson and pages through it at a reading pace
Auto Exam✓Single-answer multiple-choice quizzes and segment exams
Auto Assignment✓Fills, uploads, and submits worksheet assignments
Auto Project✓ via Auto AssignmentPresentation assignments get a full slide deck
Progress Bar✓Assessments done, grade, segment, next item, and items that need you

Features that do not apply on FLVS are hidden from the sidebar automatically.

Auto Advance

On FLVS, Auto Advance walks your course the way the Table of Contents lays it out.

  • Course picker — Revolt asks which course to run ("Ready when you are"), then opens it.
  • Lesson first — Before each unfinished assessment, it reads the lesson that goes with it.
  • Then the assessment — Quizzes and exams go to Auto Exam; assignments go to Auto Assignment.
  • Finished work is skipped — Anything you already completed is left alone.

Items that need you are noted and skipped instead of stopping the run. That covers assessments with a teacher password, Discussion-Based Assessments, Collaboration activities, and uploads that need your own photo.

When the course is done, Revolt shows All caught up — N need you with the list of those items, so you know exactly what is left to do yourself.

The Progress Bar shows where the run is: for example "Assessments 8 of 20 · grade 80% · segment 1", plus the next item and any held items. It matches FLVS's own Grade Report.

Auto Instructions (Lesson Pages)

Auto Instructions opens each lesson from the Table of Contents, the same way you would, so FLVS records the visit. It then pages through the lesson in the lesson viewer with human-like reading delays.

You can change the reading pace with the Instructions delay in Advanced Controls.

Auto Exam (Quizzes and Exams)

Auto Exam handles single-answer multiple-choice quizzes and segment exams.

  • Answers come from a growing bank of confirmed-correct answers first, then AI.
  • Answers are saved one by one, like a student clicking through.
  • Revolt submits once, then checks the grade.
  • If Auto Retry is on and the score is below your minimum, Revolt uses an FLVS reset and retakes.

Teacher-password exams

Some FLVS exams ask for your teacher's password before they open. Revolt waits for you to type it, then takes over. It never guesses or stores teacher passwords.

Segment exams

Revolt answers every question it can. If a segment exam contains a question type it does not support, it does not submit and does not leave the page. It stops and asks you to finish the exam yourself.

Multi-select, matching, fill-in, ordering, and math-entry questions are not automated on FLVS yet. When Auto Exam reaches one, it stops and asks you.

See Auto Exam for Auto Retry and AI settings.

Auto Assignment (Worksheets)

FLVS worksheet assignments are Word documents you download, fill in, and upload. Auto Assignment does the whole loop:

  1. Downloads the assignment's own Word worksheet
  2. Fills every answer box in your voice, consistently across assignments
  3. Adds real pictures where the worksheet asks for an image (photos, logos, charts, diagrams)
  4. Uploads the finished file the way you would, and submits

Personal-reflection worksheets are included. Writing is humanized, since Turnitin is active on FLVS.

Revolt also checks the sources it cites and will not submit a worksheet with a dead link. It never deletes files you attached yourself.

Presentations

Assignments that ask for a presentation, such as a slide deck, get a full .pptx: one slide per rubric section, with real visuals (stock-style photos, charts, diagrams). Each deck goes through a render-and-review check before it is uploaded. This runs through Auto Assignment; see also Auto Project.

What Revolt Never Automates

These need you, so Revolt notes them and skips them:

  • Discussion-Based Assessments — live oral check-ins with your teacher
  • Collaboration activities
  • Anything that needs your own photo, face, voice, or recording
  • Teacher passwords — you type them; Revolt waits

They show up in the All caught up — N need you list at the end of an Auto Advance run.

Limits

  • Auto Exam answers single-answer multiple choice only. Other question types stop the exam and ask you.
  • FLVS sessions last about 2 hours. After FLVS logs you out, sign back in and turn Auto Advance on again.
  • Parent accounts (VSA "selected student" view) and some district FLVS Global schools are not supported yet. Sign in with the student account.
  • Cloud Completion does not support FLVS yet. Run Revolt yourself in your browser.

Account Linking

Linking works the same as on other platforms. The linked account is your FLVS student account.

  1. Open your course from vsa.flvs.net with Revolt active
  2. Click Login with Account (subscription) or enter a license key
  3. Confirm on revolt.ly/link

Linked FLVS accounts appear in your Dashboard like other platforms. Full walkthrough: Link Your Account.

Troubleshooting

Logged out after about 2 hours

FLVS ends sessions after roughly two hours. Sign back in at vsa.flvs.net, open the course with COURSE, and turn Auto Advance on again. Finished work is skipped, so it picks up where it left off.

"This exam needs your teacher's password"

The exam is locked with a teacher password. Type the password yourself; Revolt waits, then takes over. During an Auto Advance run, the exam is held and listed under All caught up — N need you.

"Another file is already attached — remove it or submit it yourself"

The assignment already has a file attached. Revolt never deletes your files, so it stops. Remove the file yourself if you want Revolt to upload its worksheet, or submit the attached file yourself.

"This exam needs you — Unsupported question type"

The quiz has a question type Revolt doesn't automate yet (multi-select, matching, fill-in, ordering, or math entry). Revolt stops before changing any answers, so the whole quiz is yours to take.

"Finish the remaining questions on this page and submit — this exam allows one access"

Shown on a segment exam that contains a question type Revolt can't answer. Revolt answered the questions it can, did not submit, and kept the page open because the segment exam can only be opened once. Answer the remaining questions and submit.

More fixes are on the Troubleshooting page.

Tips

  • The full stack on FLVS is Auto Advance + Auto Exam + Auto Assignment + Auto Instructions
  • Keep an eye on the All caught up — N need you list. Those items still count toward your grade
  • One Revolt key covers FLVS, Subject, Edmentum, Edgenuity, and EdgeX
